Description

Embark on a picturesque journey along the coastal road of Saronic Gulf to reach the Corinth Canal, an engineering masterpiece that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. A brief halt will be taken at the canal to admire the view.

The next destination on our itinerary is Mycenae, a city renowned in Homeric legends as the city of Atreides. It was celebrated for its wealth in gold, as described by the ancient poets. A visit to the Lion’s Gate, Cyclopean Walls, Royal Tombs, and other points of interest will be made here.

Following that, we will proceed to Nauplion through the fertile plain of Argolis. This scenic town is nestled at the foot of a cliff and is crowned by the imposing ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. A brief photo stop will be made here before heading to Epidauros.

At Epidauros, we will visit the famous Theatre (4th century B.C.), known for its exceptional acoustics. Finally, we will return to Athens via the National road that connects Epidauros with Corinth. Lunch will be served in Mycenae.
