Daily Acropolis and Acropolis Museum Tour
This is a half-day tour in Athens that includes tickets to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, as well as a professional guide. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city.
Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. After a short stop there, you’ll pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (formerly the Royal Palace), which is guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform. You’ll also see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
Next, you’ll visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens on the Acropolis, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally, the Parthenon, which is known as the monument that “puts order in the mind” and represents “the harmony between material and spirit.”
Finally, you’ll visit the new Acropolis Museum, which is the place where the statues found their home and where you can admire the wonders of the classical era.
