Anafiotika is part of the Plaka district, and it features restaurants and bars that spill out onto stairs which lead up towards the Acropolis. The neighborhood is full of winding paths, small gardens, and lovely terraces adorned with plants. Anafiotika is just 0.7 km away from the Athens Psiri Hotel, which is a 15-minute walk.

The tram will take you from Syntagma to the coastal suburbs of Voula, Faliro, and Pireaus. The trip to the final stop takes approximately 50 minutes. Voula has some nice beaches that are perfect for a quick swim and are not far from Athens. If you prefer to go further, you can catch a bus or taxi from Voula’s tram terminal to Vouliagmeni beach.
